Feelings about CES 2015 seem to have been mixed. There were some fascinating new products and concepts, but fewer reveals than we're used to.

A lot of what was on show had already been unveiled last year, and was only at the show so the unwashed could get their hands on the gear and avoid losing interest before launch day.

But there were still one or two delicious surprises in store.

Forge TV microconsolePeripheral maker Razer is never far from CES, and it's been known to dabble in the smartphone and tablet realms, even if it's never quite made the cut. Until now, that is.

The crowds, and the press, have worked themselves up into a very understandable frenzy over the Android-powered microconsole, the Razer Forge TV. We've seen no shortage of similar devices in the past, but this one looks like it could finally bridge the smartphone/living room chasm.

It primarily targets the hardcore niche of Android gaming, by bringing together console-quality controllers with the big screen and a powerful, affordable base unit. But you can also clip your smartphone onto the controller and go portable, before seamlessly switching back to the TV when it's time for some elbow-to-elbow multiplayer.

I know, I know, it's been a Nintendo-filled day today but there's a lot going on. With Dark Souls supposedly rumoured, and Ninty giving the media a runaround, it's hard not to take note.

With a full Nintendo Direct out and a Nintendo Mini seemingly in, you can imagine our joy when Ninty finally shared links to its bite-sized video.

"Gus was mad as hops--partly because he'd been dragged out of bed, but more because he's a Tory. He vowed he wouldn't shave any man after twelve at night.
It looks like some people are having problems already in Pokemon Sun and Moon as tales of a game-breaking glitch have emerged. After all of your hard work, what's worse than having your glorious game file unceremoniously corrupted?

Funny how people blame the games for a 'glitch' instead of stating they used an illicit tool. The tool caused the problem :)— Kurt (@Kaphotics) November 22, 2016 Amongst the Pokemon community words of warning were flying like old wives' tales and the Pokemon centre turned into a place of fear and concern. "If you venture into the Pokemon centre late at night and say 'bloody Pikachu' three times, a Pikachu will appear and screw up your save file!" *screams*

Okay, no, it's not like that. Basically if you try and save inside the Pokemon centre the second screen of your 3DS is unresponsive and your avatar disappears, forcing you to do the old restart-a-roo.

What we didn't know is that the poor folks this is happening to are utilising PKHeX – a save editing program which lets you get better monsters (by cheating). After the creator of the program called users out on it, it looks like the glitch will be totally fixable by reverting back and going vanilla.

Sorry chaps, the honest life is hard.
Upon whose weeping margent she was set;

We've been chatting with Gbanga about their upcoming strategic, collectable card game Book of Beasts, and it looks set to be one of the next big success stories.

Book of Beasts is a new twist on the collectable card game genre. It has you summon mythical beasts onto a shared battlefield to outwit your opponents, but you're dealing from a deck you've extensively organised. Think of it as a tile-placement game, but with a monster-collection twist. I say tile-placement because each creature has markers on it's top, bottom, left or right-hand side which indicate which effect they will have when (and where) placed.

You won't just be placing the tiles though, there are also ability-style items which can be deployed which will alter gameplay in different ways.

"No, indeed! You are going to stay and have tea with us," said Anne eagerly.
Lab Like has quietly launched Magic Flute for Android today.

You may have seen us writing about it last month when it popped up on iOS. It's a novel and quite pretty little puzzler that is based on a stage opera.

The idea is to help prince Tamino to safely navigate the traps and monsters across each stage by building a path for him to walk across.

In some cases, the hazards in the way might be an earthquake, while one of the more visually impressive obstacles is a flying serpent.

All of the props and stage design in Magic Flute are based on designs by renowned Tokyo stage director Amon Miyamoto.

He's known for bringing a vibrant and energetic flair to Mozart's "Magic Flute" opera.
Ovlo - Logic Game Mod Ovlo Mod v1.1.0 (Mod Money) Features:Mod MoneyOvlo is a puzzle game which offers a wide diversity of levels, designed to entertain and challenge the logic of both the youngest and oldest players. "I wish you would call me Anne," exclaimed Anne impulsively. "It would seem more HOMEY. Everyone in Four Winds, except my husband, calls me Mrs. Blythe, and it makes me feel like a stranger. Do you know that your name is very near being the one I yearned after when I was a child. I hated `Anne' and I called myself `Cordelia' in imagination."Did livery falseness in a pride of truth.
"Fol-de-rol," said Doctor Dave, but he spoke with less conviction than usual.
