2、
PUBG Mobile is one of those live service games that seems to have a never-ending supply of events and temporary game modes, which is most likely a great thing for its millions of players. The latest influx of content comes in the form of a special game variant called Ancient Secret Mode. Beyond that, there are few new bits and pieces for players to enjoy in Arena.

The Ancient Secret Mode will be selectable from the main menu and will allow players to explore a building that has begun rising from Miramar and Erangel. It starts the game at ground level but as the match progresses it will float and follow the circle. It's a two-story structure with the second housing a boss that players can defeat for various rewards.

Elsewhere on these maps, players will also find small ruins that will spawn in random locations. Here there will be puzzles for players to solve. Similarly, there will also be Ancient Slate puzzles for players to tease their brains with.

To coincide with the game mode's arrival, players will also be able to unlock a Golden Pharaoh X-Suit Outfit. Joining this rather highfalutin sounding outfit will be four costumes called Warrior of Ra, Warrior of Nut, Underworld Guide, and Mummy. These can also be upgraded by six levels to change the appearance, gain emotes and more.

Each of these outfits will have a Treasure Crate that's unique to them. These can then be unlocked for additional rewards. Among those will be Pharaoh Coins which can be exchanged for other outfits and materials to upgrade the Golden Pharaoh X-Suit.

Meanwhile, in the Arena mode, players will be able to take part in a four vs four game variant called Team Gun Game. This will be available from Friday to Sunday each weekend and will see player's weapons gradually upgraded as they get kills, with the ultimate aim being to get a kill with the pan.

Team Gun Game will also be available on the new Library map. This is the first indoor map on PUBG Mobile and it will have a symmetrical layout. Players will be able to scramble up platforms, hide behind doorways and bookshelves to try and gain an advantage over their opponents.

PUBG Mobile is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
On the lookout for more action-packed multiplayer games? Here are 25 of the best for iPhone and iPad
That didn't last too long.

Amazon Game Studios's lighthearted sci-fi adventure Tales From Deep Space was exclusive to Amazon Fire tablets for about seven months. It lost that exclusivity today as it came out for iOS.

It takes place on the eccentric Big Moon space station and has you helping out E and his luggage drone CASI escape after the station goes into lock down.

As you switch between E and CASI, using their different abilities in battle and puzzle solving, you uncover the plot behind the "Meek" uprising.

While this is a single player game you can also play local co-op if you have a friend with a copy of the game on their iPad or iPhone.

Want a humorous adventure to play with a friend? You could do worse than Tales From Deep Space. Grab it on the App Store for £4.99 / $6.99 right now.

It seems a little absurd at first until Layton remembers a recent accident in London involving a time machine exploding.
Professor Layton and the Lost Future / Unwound Future is coming to mobile devices in HD on the 13th of July, 2020!Remember, a true gentleman never reveals spoilers. #ProfessorLaytonhttps://t.co/wJEBaqkDHn pic.twitter.com/vUi0kIiTCR— Layton Series (@LaytonSeries) July 3, 2020From there Layton begins his investigation to discover what exactly is going on. That means exploring and solving several puzzles to progress the story further and uncover more of the mystery. These conundrums and minigames will all make use of 'intuitive touch controls'. Of course, there will also be several characters you'll meet throughout the course of the story to chat with.

Professor Layton and the Lost Future initially launched for the Nintendo DS in 2008 for Japan and 2010 in the rest of the world. Much like a majority of the Layton titles, it was very well received, including by us. Damien McFerran reviewed it for us back in 2010, giving it a Gold rating.

Professor Layton and the Lost Future/Unwound Future will be available on the App Store and Google Play on 13th July. There's no word on price just yet but we'll be sure to keep you updated when we learn more.
On the hunt for more puzzle games to play on your phone? Here are 25 of the best available for iOS
